  • While I can't disagree with many points being made about Wal-Mart here, there is one that I can.  Wal-Mart did NOT destroy the Mom and Pop shops.  The people (shoppers) did.

  • Ask any of those teachers if they have research to back up their claims. Here is a study showing that light drinking does not affect behavioral and cognitive behavior yet because that doesn't 'feel good' people disregard statistics.

  • The key is 'supposedly' had only one drink. Worldwide alcohol consumption during pregnancy is not as puritan as in this county. This is another 'competitive parenting' issue.
